As medical imaging accreditation requirements are being enforced by state laws and medical insurance carriers, many facilities are seeking assistance with the task of becoming and/or maintaining accreditations.  Although consultants are not required by the American College of Radiology (ACR) or by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) as a condition for accreditation, hundreds of medical imaging professionals have sought assistance from the expertise of qualified consulting individuals and companies.

Accreditation consultants can be a valuable tool if your facility is unable to dedicate generous amounts of time to the accreditation process or if your staff is unfamiliar with creating policies and procedures and a quality assurance program.
